Deputy Ward Manager

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Ward Manager (New Female PICU Service!) to work in an exceptional hospital service based in the Thatcham, Berkshire area. As a Deputy Ward Manager you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.

This is a medium and low secure service with rehabilitation flats. The service provides a seamless internal care pathway supporting and empowering patients in their recovery and rehabilitation

As a Deputy Ward Manager your day to day duties include:
• Delivering high-quality care in a challenging environment will be second nature to you, where you will enjoy the reward and satisfaction that comes with seeing people in your care improve
• Working alongside the multidisciplinary team
• you will provide personalised assessment and treatment programmes for males with mental illness/complex care needs as well as those with personality disorder, and females in a PICU service

An ideal Deputy Ward Manager must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
• Experience of working within an acute setting as a senior member of the nursing team
• Ability to lead the team with the Ward Manager
• Flexibility and self-motivation
• Excellent communication skills
• High levels of emotional resilience
• Able to show a can-do attitude always

The successful Deputy Ward Manager will receive an excellent annual salary up to £36,962 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role and in return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
