An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join an exceptional hospital service based in County Durham. As a Nurse you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.

The hospital provides specialist inpatient care for people with mental health needs and presenting with complex needs and behaviours that challenge, in a safe and supportive environment and provide specialist care such as mixed acute care, low secure mental illness and complex needs.

As a Nurse your day to day duties include:
• Contribute to discharge planning and the development of positive therapeutic relationships with individual service users to restore their quality of life.
• Work as part of a integrated team of therapist, consultant psychiatrists, HCA’s and other professionals
• Provide comprehensive care pathways and intensive rehabilitation programmes that help service users take responsibility for their lives.
• Provide personalised packages of care for people with complex mental health needs

An ideal Nurse must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
• Registered with the NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council)
• Patient centric & commitment to delivering high quality care
• Excellent organisational capability
• Effective communication skills
• Able to show a can-do attitude always

The successful Nurse for this role will be paid a competitive salary of up to £27,785.70-£28,927 per annum. This exciting position is for 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
