Clinical or Forensic Psychologist
An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Clinical or Forensic Psychologist to work in an exceptional hospital setting based in the Romford, Essex area. As a Psychologist to work for one of UK's leading health care providers.
This hospital is a low secure service for males who are over the age of 50. They offer an age-appropriate environment for those who also have a mental health/personality disorder and/or dementia and/or have physical health care needs. The aim is to help patients rebuild confidence, self-esteem and hopes for the future.
As a Clinical or Forensic Psychologist your day to day duties include:
Provide services across two low secure older adult units
Be responsible for the provision of a high quality Clinical Psychology service
Providing a Psychology service to older adults with a mental disorder through developing Psychological formulations and assessments
Formulating plans for their Psychological treatments and implementing Psychological interventions for individuals and groups
Be expected to provide psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals where applicable
Be able to work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the teams policies and procedures
Play a key part in risk assessment and management, providing staff support and, where required, training to staff
An ideal Clinical or Forensic Psychologist must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
A qualification (or equivalent) in Clinical or Forensic Psychology along with HCPC Registration
Experience with an adult mental health client group, preferably working with acute clients
Experience and knowledge of psychological assessment, treatment and therapies within mental health
The ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
Able to show a can-do attitude always
The successful Clinical or Forensic Psychologist will receive an excellent annual salary up to £44,000 pro rata per annum depending on experience. This exciting position is a Part Time role working 22.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
