Home Care Operations Manager
An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Home Care Operations Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of a homecare agency or organization in the Lowestoft, Suffolk area. You will be working for one of UKs leading health care providers
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of all operational aspects within a homecare business
**To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care**
As the Operations Manager your key responsibilities include:
Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of healthcare professionals, including branch managers, care coordinators and administrative staff. Ensure the team is motivated, trained, and aligned with the companys visions and goals
Efficiently allocate and manage resources, including staffing, supplies and office oversight as maintaining cost-effectiveness
Develop, monitor, and manage budgets to achieve financial targets while maintaining quality of care. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement appropriate measures
Implement and maintain rigorous quality assurance and compliance protocols to meet regulatory requirements and uphold the highest standards of client care
Stay current with all relevant regulations, licensing requirements, and industry standards. Ensure the branches remain in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements in service delivery, scheduling, and operations. Implement best practices to optimize operations
Accurate oversight of records, reports, and documentation related to client care, employee performance, and operational metrics. Prepare regular reports for senior management
Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures to address unexpected situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients and staff
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Previous experience in healthcare operations management, preferably in homecare
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance
Proficiency in using healthcare management software and technology
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Compassion and dedication to providing high-quality patient care
The successful Operations Manager will receive an excellent salary up to £55,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 40 hours a week from 9am-5pm. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
