Junior Doctor
A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Junior Doctor to work in an exceptional hospital setting based in the North of London. As a Junior Doctor you will be working for one of UK's health care providers.
This special hospital is one of the UK’s leading centres for the treatment of a wide range of mental health difficulties including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).
As a Junior Doctor your day to day duties include:
• Undertake psychiatric and medical assessments for clients admitted to the unit to determine the appropriate level of care to be provided, under the direction and supervision of a Consultant Psychiatrist
• Work with the unit multi-disciplinary team to ensure delivery of the Care Programme
• Prepare reports and other associated documentation as necessary e.g. for CPA meetings and ward rounds, as directed and supervised by a Consultant Psychiatrist
• You will also be expected to attend daily multidisciplinary handover meetings
• Be expected to attend the weekly postgraduate CPD meeting
• Will be expected to participate in Clinical Governance and to carry out audits
• To teach medical students from University College London
An ideal Junior Doctor must have these skills and experiences as they are beneficial for this position:
• The post holder will be able to demonstrate evidence of foundation training and competencies (or equivalent) including experience of working within the field of psychiatry.
• MBBS qualification, or equivalent, and will be required to maintain full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
• Able to show a can-do attitude always
The successful Junior Doctor will receive an excellent salary of £65,000 Circa. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
