RGN Home Manager

An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Home Manager to work in an exceptional nursing home based in the Burscough, Ormskirk area. As a Home Manager you will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers.

The nursing home is a superb refurbished building situated on a corner plot enjoying views over picturesque scenery, as well as providing more than ample car parking space. The service is truly a home for life due to being dual registered home catering for service users with both residential and nursing needs.

As the Home Manager your key responsibilities include:
• Managing and developing high quality services for all residents
• Developing and guiding the team of staff
• Encourage and instil a culture of care and continuous improvement across the service
• Actively working the staff, residents and their families, to help shape and develop a centre of excellence for person-centred care
• The promotion of high standards of nursing care, following CQC and NMC guidelines, by ensuring all staff are managed appropriately and the home runs in a smooth and efficient manner

An ideal Home Manager must have these skills and experience as they are beneficial for this position:
• Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised
• Dependable and honest
• Able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the residents and the home
• Demonstrate a track record in leading, motivating, managing and developing staff
• A clear understanding of leadership responsibilities in social care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven management experience within the sector
• Experience of leadership and mentoring staff
• An enhanced DBS certificate is required for this role

The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of £43,000 + up to £4,000 OTE bonus per annum. It is a Full Time role and in return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
